Batt insulation is also a way to thermal insulate an exterior wall. If installed correctly it can be efficient. We make sure that all penetrations and joints have been constructed and sealed properly. Batt insulation in an interior wall has great characteristics for achieving sound ratings. We make sure at Pietsch Construction that if there is a STC rating on wall types we construct it per specifications.
